Ultra lightweight travel trailer RV for rent or rental
Open 24/7

Save money on gas and camp on beautiful Vancouver Island without the hassle of owning and maintaining an RV by renting our ultra lightweight folding Chalet XL1930 travel trailer. This is an amazing trailer due to it's light weight. It folds down for fuel economy and folds up for fun anywhere. 30 second set-up time with electric roof lift system, just press a button. All exterior walls are fiberglass and not canvas. It is very easy to pull for most vehicles with hitches that can handle at least 3000lbs. It does have electric brakes that need to be utilized with a 7 pin connector. Trucks, many SUV's, mini vans and some cars can typically handle this weight, but please check your manufacturer's specifications for towing capacity. If your vehicle does not have an electric brake controller installed, no worries, just rent our wireless unit. If you are in doubt about towing, just go with our delivery and set-up option.

Our trailer sleeps 4 comfortably with a raised full size rear queen mattress bed and the dinette converts into a double bed. It has a high vaulted ceiling with three skylights, inside and outside shower, cassette toilet, double sink, propane stove and a fridge with freezer. Equipment includes: awning, two furnaces (electric 110V & propane), coffee maker, toaster, microwave oven, portable propane stove, propane BBQ, table, outside mat, first aid kit, privacy curtains, USB plug in chargers, LED lighting, dish-rack, games, pots & pans, all utensils and dishes for a typical family of four.

You can dry camp with this RV, but ideally it's easier to select a site with 110V and even potable water hook-up. The 110V hook-up allows the inverter to charge the battery and run all the 110V appliances saving propane. No power, no worries as we have a whisper quiet generator for rent too.

Requests for additional gear, such as: sleeping bags, bedding, tent, tarps, privacy screens, gas stoves, gas lanterns, potable water containers, propane FIREPIT, extra propane tanks and generators are available. We even have solar panels if you choose to be greener. Please let us know as we can typically accommodate you for a very nominal rental fee.

Clean and well behaved pets are welcome, but don't allow them on the bed or sofa and don't leave them unattended, in the trailer when you are out. Mature renters only please and the driver must have a class 5 license without an "N" or "L". NO SMOKING IN OR WITHIN 15' OF OUR TRAILER.

$650 damage deposit required, $325 due at booking, balance due at pick-up. E-transfers can be accommodated. A delivery and set-up option is available, but the price will depend on location and timing. Rental document must be read and agreement signed.

In your reply message: Please let us know what dates you are considering, your email address, phone number and let us know in advance where you are going to be camping. Site number can be given to us after rental confirmation.

For mainland renters - we are conveniently located approximately 15 minutes away from the Departure Bay Ferry Terminal or 15 minutes from the Duke Point Terminal.

How clean is our RV travel trailer? Once a year we remove all the drapes, cushion upholstery, which is all washed and cleaned. The mattress is kept inside in heated storage. The entire trailer is emptied, vacuumed and blown out with an air compressor. All items and washed, ceilings, walls and wood panels are wiped down. The exterior is cleaned at the beginning of the season and waxed. It's super super clean and ready for you to enjoy. I personally have very fond memories of camping in beautiful British Columbia as a child. Our family has enjoyed camping since our boys were young. We hope this camper rental experience will give you great memories too.

About the service provider

We are a family renting tent trailers and travel trailers to mature renters that wish to discover and explore Vancouver Island without the hassle of owning, maintaining, storing and insuring their own RV. With over 30 years of experience in RVing we have loaned out our RV to family and friends in the past, but then we started renting our tent trailer to responsible people. To accommodate more requests than we could handle with our existing trailer, this endeavor has now expanded to four trailers with a fifth one currently in the works.
